Last Post as a Guest Designer at the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog

Good day to you all! I hope you had a fantastic week. My week was fine. It was hot over here so I did stay a lot inside. The sun is just to strong in the day time. Also my little chihuahua, Jack doesn't like to go outside. He is lying on the tiles to keep a little bit cool. And when the sun goes down, then he likes to go outside.
But oke, lets go back to my card for today.
This is my last example for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog as a Guest Designer. Jo and Ladies from the Design Team, thanks a lot! It was a pleasure to play along.

The theme for this week is: Add Ribbon and Sparkle.

And what a great theme this is! I love, love my sparkle! Totally my thing.

So, for this Challenge we have a great Sponsor: Crafty Ribbons. The prize for the winner is a 10 Pound Voucher.

For my example I use "Ballerina Bobby" from Digital Delights.
I coloured her with my Copics. Only her skirt I did not colour. Instead of that I put on pink glitter powder, "Bubblegum" from Sparkle 'n Sprinkle. I've also used some Liquid Pearls around the image.
Along the edges I used Stickels, "Star Dust". On the right side I also attached an edge made with a die from Marianne Design.
The sentiment I made on the computer and then printed it out.
The papers are from SEI, "With All My Heart". Beautiful papers with a lot of shining details. I inked the papers up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain".
On the left side I also used an edge die, from Doohickey Magnolia.
The flowers coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. The hydrangea is from Prima Marketing. I put a pearl split pin with a spacer in the middle. On top of the flowers also some Stickels, "Star Dust".
The leaves underneath the flowers are made with a die from Cheery Lynn. Also the heart is made with a die from them.
The little branches and the butterfly are punches from Martha Stewart.
The flat back pearls, rhinestones and ribbon are coming from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated accordingly. For that I cut out a square with my Nestabilities. I used the frame what was left over after cutting as an extra embellishment.
Well, so fare for my card. I do hope you like it again.
And if you want, go take a look at the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog to look at all the beautiful examples the other ladies made.
And I do hope a lot of you come and play along with this fun Challenge for the chance to win this lovely price from Crafty Ribbons.

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Animals

Good day to you all folks! Finally I'm able to write this blog post. It really took me ages to upload the pictures for this post. Last night and the day before it didn't work.
Today late in the afternoon it finally did. But the first picture still took one hour before it was ready.
Since the beginning of Ramadan over here in Egypt, the internet is really terrible. And internet is already bad in Egypt. And this frustrates me sometimes a lot.
But oke, back to my card which I made for the new Challenge at the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog.

This weeks Challenge is all about Animals!

So you can make any card or project you like, as long as the focus lies on Animals, any kind of Animals.
I used a digi stamp from one of our Sponsors, Pickled Potpourri Designs, and this digi is called "Tail Feathers". It comes with the sweet sentiment. I coloured this funny little chick up with my Copic Markers.
After that I cut it out with the Round Nestabilities.
The papers I used are from a paper pad from Basic Grey, "Picadilly". An paper pad with all bright colours.
The swirl is made with a die from Doohickey, Magnolia. The leaves behind the flowers are a die from CreaLies and a punch of Martha Stewart.
The edge I made with a die from Die-Namics, "Dainty Lace Border". The little butterfly is also made with a die of Die-Namics.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. On top of the flowers I put some Stickels, "Star Dust".
The feathers, ribbon and flat back pearls are coming from my stash.
I do hope you like this card again. And remember, this week there are TWO winners for this Challenge, because there are TWO Sponsors.
First of all: Pickled Potpourri Designs

Good day to you all people. I hope every body is doing fine! Over here in Luxor it is very hot. I do experience a lot of problems with the internet. The internet is soooo slow and sometimes not working at all. Uploading stuff takes forever or not working at all, like yesterday night. That frustrates me sometimes. But oké, what can you do, nothing. So keep calm and keep cool! So I took a dive in my swimming pool. Lol.
But back to my card. This is my third GD card for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog.

And the theme for this week is: Christmas.

Well, pretty easy isn't it. And for this Challenge we have a fabulous sponsor: Paper Nest Dolls Digis!
They have absolutely super cute digis! Go check them out.
For this card I used "Gingerbread Ellie". Isn't she lovely. I coloured here with my Copics. I then cut her out with some rectangle Nestabilities.
The papers I used are from Kaisercraft, super old but I still think they are beautiful. I inked the papers up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain".
The sentiment stamps are from Lili of the Valley, the Christmas Tag set.
The big snowflakes at the top are made with a die from Tim Holtz. On top I put some "Aged Teal Embossing Enamel" from Stampendous.
The white snowflake behind the flowers is made with a Doohickey from Magnolia. The leaves behind the flowers are made with a die from Cheery Lynn.
The edge I made with an edge punch from Fiskars, "Apron Lace".
In the left corner I also used a corner die from Memory Box, "Snowflake Corner".
The flowers and Vintage Seam Binding are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts. On the flowers I put some Stickels, "Star Dust".

C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Inspired By A Film

Good day to you all. I hope you had a nice week. Over here in Luxor it is super hot with temperatures around the 46/47degrees. So you stay in with the fan on and if you have the air co on to.
Today I'm back with my second GD card for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog.

The theme this week is: "Inspired By A Film".

And our sponsor is the talented Lacy Sunshine with tons of super sweet Girlie digi stamps!
For this card I used the digi "Rory's Movie Snacks".
This digi reminds me more of the movies I watched. I'm not such a big television fan and go seldom to the cinema. But this stamp reminded me of the movies I've been seen in the cinema. And from the last years that where all the Hobbit movies and Avatar. I loved them! I love all kind of Fantasy movies. And then sit there and watch and have a big bucket of popcorn with it.
Unfortunately over here in Luxor we don't have a cinema and the nearest town with a cinema is Hurghada, which is a 4/5 hour drive away!
But back to my card. The papers I used are from a paper pad from Kaisercraft, "Lavendar Haze". I inked the papers with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain". Behind the papers I put a little paper doily.
The edge I made with a punch of Martha Stewart, "Doily Lace".
The sentiment stamp is from a set from Kaisercraft.
The flowers are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves beneath it are made with dies from Cheery Lynn and Magnolia.
Behind the flowers I also put some film strip ribbon.
The ribbon and the pearls are from my never ending stash.
The inside of the card I made accordingly. Used a die from CreaLies and also some film strip.
I do hope you get a little inspired by this card for the Film Challenge at the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge Blog and that you play along so you will have a chance to win the fabulous prize from Lacy Sunshine!
Thanks everybody for visiting my blog and hope to see you soon again!

Last GD Card for Crafts and Me - You're Lovely

Good day to you all folks. I hope you are all doing fine. Over here in Luxor, Egypt, Ramadan started last Saturday. That is a very important time for Muslim people. But it is also very hard for them at the moment because it is very hot here. In the daytime it is at the moment around 46 degrees! So during the day it is everywhere very quiet. Every body is in the house, sleeping. In the daytime you could shoot a canon in the street and hit nobody and nothing! Lol! But in the evening and night it is very busy on the streets. They all go out, shopping or visiting family or friends. But so far about Egypt again.
Back to my first card for today because today I have two posts for you people.
This is my last card as a GD for Crafts and Me. And I must say, I did it with great pleasure. It was so nice to play with their lovely digi's. So Thanks Teresa from Crafts and Me to let me be a Guest Designer!
For this last card I used a stamp from the very talented artist Morgan Fitzsimons. She makes a wide range of all kind of different digi stamps: Fantasy, Ethnic, Animals, Womans Heads and Flowers.  This digi is called "Ariane". She is not yet in the shop but I'm sure she will come soon.
The papers I used are from a paper pad from K&Company. I inked the papers up with Distress Ink, "Walnut Stain". Behind the papers I made a tag. The corners on the right side of the card I cut with a corner punch.
The round sentiment stamp and the stamp on the tag are coming from Lili of the Valley.
Further more I used an edge punch from Martha Stewart.
The little fence is made with a die cut from Memory Box.
The vine leaves behind the flowers a made with a die from Creative Expressions.
The little butterfly is a die from Die-Namics.
The flowers are coming from Wild Orchid Crafts and the hydrangea from Prima Marketing. In the centre I put a spacer with a split pen. On the flowers I put some Stickels, "Star Dust".
The flat back pearls, rhinestones and ribbon are coming from my stash.
The inside of the card I decorated also. For that I used a nesting die from Nellie Snellen and some flowers.
I do hope you like this card again. Thanks every body for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.
